– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree

– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

For the Glaze:

– 1 cup powdered sugar

– 2 tablespoons milk

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– Orange food coloring (optional)

 INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Making the Donuts:

 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.

2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.

3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, pumpkin puree, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
